A.C.T. TO LEAD
PURPOSE: As part of Asian Solidarity Collective’s Leadership Development programs A.C.T. to Lead Fellows Day program’s purpose is to cultivate youth leaders through areas of organizing, education, creative expression and practices of community care in order to activate, create and transform to lead.
OBJECTIVES:

Enhanced critical thinking skills with enriched knowledge and transformative leadership skill sets

Engaged thoughtful dialogue around social justice issues

Understand the values of developing community-centered and collective practices

Attained new experiences and multiple perspectives

Connect, build, learn, collaborate and lead alongside peers and community

Activated to get involved and create social change as a youth transformative leader

Learned personal ecology and community care practices to foster healing, restoration, wellness, and transformation.
Covid-19 Safety & Disability Justice Values
We're excited to provide this program as we intend to continue to keep to our disability justice values by organizing an in-person program that ensure the safety of all guests as much as possible with requests for all guests to wear masks, sanitize hands frequently, do a daily temperature check at our doors and highly encourage requests for guests to be fully vaccinated with boosters. Social distancing at this event will be highly encouraged. Stay home if you are unwell. Should there be an increase of covid-19 cases in San Diego, CA this event will transition to a virtual event and you will be contacted.
